OC Mom of Two Tots

Cousins Liza Robinson and Bea Ilusorio are the gorgeous moms you see in bazaars and ExpoMom selling children’s furniture and accessories. (They are also the OC cousins of my good friend Jenny of MyMommyology.)

They are the ones behind Two Tots, this excellent line of locally-made furniture for kids (but they also make made-to-order furniture). We got my daughter M’s big girl’s bed and table and chairs set from them and I believe those things will last us years.

I asked Liza to talk about her OC-ness in her home:

I am very OC about keeping things tidy – especially in our playroom. I also make it a point for the girls to tidy the room themselves! This means that you have to make it easy for them to tidy up. For this I use a lot of good sized colorful tubs and crates. Each tub or crate is for a particular item – like balls, or lego, or hats. With a big enough container, everything looks tidy once they are put away.

I actually got this idea from a friend who bought all these crates from Two Tots and told me what she did with them. I did the same thing at home and it works like a charm. I also put up some crate shelves and put it at the level of the girls. This makes tidying up their books and activity books really easy – and it’s also easy for them to find what they are looking for =)

I have the same baskets and containers which made M’s Room Makeover so easy.

Thanks Liza! I’ll feature Bea in another post the future. In the meantime, check out Two Tots for their line of furniture and for other organizing and storage solutions.

The furniture costs a lot but I think they’re worth it because of the wood they use and the workmanship. Very pulido.

  3. I loved them the first time I saw them in Expo Mom last year, during the Christmas bazaar. I love their stuff, haven’t gotten around to trying any of it though! Looks well-made :)

  4. Love it! And love the layout! Do you use illustrator and photoshop like (eye)candy? =)

I don’t have her skills! I’ve gotten used to hiring designers to do our design projects. I just use Pages and Keynote.
