One of the most watched celebrities in the Royal Wedding coverage was David Beckham. He looked super handsome but I couldn’t get past the similarity of his hair to Ricky Gervais’s hair (What is it with me and hair? Damned if you have it, damned if you don’t.) A lot of people kept on saying he made a faux pas because he didn’t wear his top hat but I thought it was a smart move because he didn’t get hat hair like Prince Harry or the priest.
Because of this clear OC-ness, I decided to look up what else David Beckham was OC about and true enough, he does have other OC habits. According to ivillage UK, David Beckham is obsessed with symmetry. He lines up his shirts according to color (doesn’t everyone?). According to his wife Posh (we’re close) “He’s got this obsessive compulsive thing where everything has to match. If you open our fridge, it’s all coordinated down either side. We’ve got three fridges – food in one, salad in another and drinks in the third. In the drinks one, everything is symmetrical. If there [are] three cans of diet coke, he’d throw one away than having three – because it has to be an even number.”
He had me at coordinated.

WAIT! He transferred his medal to the left side? Lol! I guess someone told him when he went into the abbey… coz his other bigger faux pas was wearing the medal on the right side when he arrived.
I’m curious about the hat though. I think he should have just not brought the hat all because his hair is MAGNIFICENT enough! It was a bit silly though to carry it around without any plans of wearing it.
Funny all this talk about David and his 2 faux pas because in this particular occasion wherein tradition and doing everything proper is of the utmost importance (I dare say more than any other event in the world) you realize that despite being fashion royalty to the entire world, the Beckhams can still commit faux pas in the face of the real British Royalty. It makes them more human and not so far from us after all… perhaps just by a couple of millions of dollars! =P LOL!

Maybe the hat was for Posh to put over her fascinator. Haha.
I know for sure that it’s 3x more refrigerators (and the electricity they generate) that separate me from them. HAHAHA
