According to National Geographic’s Green Guide, the bathroom is where 60% of water used indoors is consumed.
Here’s an interesting video on conserving water in your bathroom where some of the tips are already being practiced by OCMOMinManila’s blog readers. (Yay for you! I reserve the right to copy the tips you submitted.)
Another tip on “saving” water:
Use organic cleaning solutions instead of harsh chemicals (because what goes out the drain will come back to you in another form in the future). I will do a post on organic disinfectants and cleaners soon because we just love them now.

Today is the last day to join our blog contest.
My criteria for choosing the 5 winners of the bottles (aside from the mechanics):
- Those who gave the most tips
- Those who gave tips I have not yet done and will apply in my own home
Then we’ll just raffle off the 5 winners to come up with the winner for the Aquasana Shower Filter! Stay tuned tomorrow =)

Can a tip be: take a hot shower to get new ideas since 95% of the good ideas come from the bathroom? As commented on the Slight Detour’s most recent post, hahaha.
Ah, to get new ideas on saving water! Haha, depends if the ideas have fruition.
